Terms & Conditions

1. Orders & Enquiries

All orders begin with an enquiry submitted via our website or direct contact.
Submitting an enquiry does not guarantee availability or confirm a booking.

An order or event is only confirmed once:

  • Availability has been agreed in writing, and

  • A booking retainer or full payment (where applicable) has been received.

We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion.

2. Pricing

All prices listed on our website are starting prices.

Final pricing is based on:

  • Number of servings

  • Design complexity

  • Flavors and fillings

  • Decorative details

  • Delivery, setup, or event requirements

A final quote will be provided before confirmation.

3. Payments & Deposits

• A 50% non-refundable booking retainer is required to secure your order date.
• Once a booking retainer has been paid, the date is reserved and the order is confirmed.
• The remaining balance must be paid no later than 3 days before collection or delivery.
• Orders with unpaid balances may be cancelled.

Orders are not confirmed until payment terms are met.
Failure to complete payment by the agreed time may result in cancellation.

4. Cancellations, Refunds & Rescheduling

Due to the bespoke nature of our work:

Custom cake Orders

• Cancellations made within 14 days of the collection or delivery date are non-refundable.

Events & Experiences

  • Cancellations made within 14 days of the event date are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • Rescheduling requests must be made at least 14 days in advance and are subject to availability.

This policy reflects the time, preparation, and materials secured in advance.

5. Design & Creative Interpretation

All cakes are handcrafted.

While inspiration images are welcome, exact duplication is not guaranteed. Designs are interpreted in our own style to ensure quality, structure, and artistic consistency.

Minor variations in color, texture, or decorative details are natural and do not constitute a fault.

6. Allergies & Dietary Information

Our products may contain or come into contact with:

  • Dairy

  • Eggs

  • Gluten

  • Nuts

  • Soy

Clients are responsible for informing us of any allergies at the time of enquiry.
We cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

7. Collection, Delivery & Responsibility

Collection, delivery, and setup details will be agreed in advance.

Once a cake has been:

  • Collected by the client, or

  • Delivered and accepted at the venue

Responsibility for the product transfers to the client.
We are not liable for damage caused by improper handling, storage, transportation, or environmental conditions after delivery.

8. Events & Experiences

For hosted experiences (including Buttercream & Bubbles events):

  • Participation is voluntary and at your own discretion

  • Guests must follow provided guidance for tools and materials

  • We are not responsible for personal belongings during events

9. Photography & Marketing

We may photograph cakes and events for portfolio and marketing purposes.

No identifying personal information will be shared without consent.
If you prefer your order or event not be photographed, please inform us in advance.

10. Limitation of Liability

Ritanna Sweets shall not be held liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our services, except where required by Swedish law.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Sweden.
Any disputes shall be handled in accordance with Swedish law.
